TonyTguy: Is this Rx-10 III worth upgrading from the Rx-10 Mark ii version on any level forgetting the zoom lens differences and f stop differences

How much better is the mark III version to the mark ii Rx-10 version as a upgrade.

rxb dc: It is not perfect - but as the reviewers and many commentators have said, it does a very decent job and it is absolutely fantastic for hiking, parks, or travel.
CR is an issue but in real life shows up less often than one would imagine and even then, can be easily fixed.
I am quite happy with the results and versatility.
Take a look of my samples for the level of detail (especially in the birds, snake etc).

Yeah, the ylook pretty sharp at 300. But the camera Looks terribly noisy at 1000 iso. Is this normal? Even my 7d at 1600, which is older, doesn't look that noisy.

Hello,

I have the old 18-270 without pzd. Last week, I went into a shop and tried to compare the new 16-300 against my old lens. I did not really see any differences at home when viewed on my Computer. Taken with a 7d.
has anybody else upgraded like it was my Intention?
From what I see in the compairison tool here at dpreview, there should be a a big Advantage in sharpness with the new one?
