RichardRE: What about a 4/3rds camera as in the Panasonic lx100 with 16mp sensor but only using 13 mp?

Thank you, I had thought the pixels were bigger and would gather more light for a better photo. So if I take the photo without considering a crop later. it should be OK?

Also been using the Xume system for years. Cannot be beat for fast changing of filters. No more problems with stuck filters. Only downside is that my lens cover will not stay on; slightest bump and it falls off. Maybe, just maybe, the ring attached to the lens should be thicker...

I really like the Ice Cave and think that this type of photo opportunity is what the photographer is trying to say in his article. However, I would like to see some photos with the same theme in more local areas that I can get to (as Mononk has pointed out).

Agreed, but I do not know the price of the 70-200.

Well, after reading all the posted comments, I am looking forward to upgrading from my Pany LX3 and Pentax MX to the new K5IIs. The MX still takes great pics with the Pentax 40-80 and the Soligor 80-200. And I read that these lenses will also work with the K5II. Although, I am liking the 18-135 to replace them. The Nikon D600 is out of my reach and the glass is really expensive that you would have to put on that camera. All in all, I have always been satisified withy my MX and the pics taken throughout the years; but it seems that I should now 'keep up with the times'.
