I think I have a trade deal I’m working with. Thanks for the interest.

I have a like new condition Canon R6. I bought it at Best Buy like two months ago. It has a low shutter count of 760. I also have three Canon lenses (28/1.8, 40/2.8 & 135/2) that I am willing to ...

Heat can only expand within the given platform on hand is limited. It needs to dissipate in order for the camera to function to its spec. I made a metal fixture that I installed (camera mount,...

Canon made a risk by developing a TOOL that has an option for 8K video. 8K...a lot of data, which means the processor is working its butt off to deliver the files to its spec. Heat can only go so...

I previously held and tried the Z6. After trying it for a good three weeks, I sold my D850 and pre-ordered the Z5. Just the haptics and great line of lenses got me intrigued. The more I use it ...

I have no desire to take out my wallet because for the past few years, cameras are slowly becoming video cameras, which I'm not interested in and I don't want to pay for something I'm not going to...

@Kandid - Yes, maybe you're talking about my wallet.

For stills, this camera probably the best camera that came out this year! More for photographers, which is a great. Dual card slots, same IBIS and AF with the Z6 and etc. I think we have a winner!...
-
For stills or non-moving subjects, IBIS will allow you to stay close to base ISO for best quality and dynamic range. I was using base ISO (64) with the Z7 even when ideal light was not available...

We can't really compare the files because of supported hardware are different. Canon's RF glass are better than Nikon's Z mount lenses. The closest comparison would be utilizing the Zeiss Otus line...

Great dynamic range! Nice job, Canon!

@tetsumo - I hear you. Nikon's Z6 is well below $2K and has the same shooting envelope. What makes-up the difference is the 3 extra stops on stabilization, shooting fps, dual card slots, and world...

Even the R5 is a bargain knowing it shoots 8K - grabbing a photo is like 32 MP!That alone should deter those who are looking up to buy the 1DXIII. I'm not sure how stabilized is the rolling...

R6 and Panasonic G9 may have similar specs but the shooting envelope on the R6 will make-up the difference on price, weight, and size.
-
From the 1DXIII studio samples, the dynamic range has improved tremendously! I believe the R6 is the camera for all kinds of shooting. More expanded shooting envelope compared to the R5. Good luck!

Preordered... The price is actually a bargain for what it can offer. Finally, Canon's world class RF lenses will feel absolutely at home with the R5. In combination, 8K photo grab will be a game...

I’m a stills guy and I don’t really print overly large pictures so this camera is for me. I don’t mind the size and weight as long as it gets the job done. The dynamic range is a clear winner and...

Good IBIS like Olympus, better dynamic range and 8K Photo Mode.
Activity older than 12 months is not displayed.
