Its just a way of milking suckers for money. The value in the final result is pure nostalgia, if the image is ever printed and presented is just the 'throw away part'.

Barry Duggan Photography: Every time I see a picture of a phone on websites such as this it saddens me.

The vast majority of images captured today are from cameras in phones, should that camera technology just be ignored?

Totally, if you follow all the rules, public safety is number 1, this throws it all out the window. Will be an interesting to see who sues who, you cant legislate for stupid.

Betico: Currently own the P900. Will buy the new one in a year from now. For the moment I'm very happy with the current one.

The RAW format might be worth the upgrade.

I would guess graphene, thin and strong enough to be used in this way.

torchman310: Supreme Court going against its own ruling. Goodbye B & H Photo and Adorama. Having to pay taxes, I may as well go to my local camera shop. At least I won't need to worry about lost freight and I get to play with my purchase in store. Bummer. As usual our lawmakers have seen their cash cow come in once again and crap on "The People". But then again, isn't that what Washington D.C. is known for?

Yep, but you see, all those tax cuts for the rich have to come from somewhere!

Who would have guessed grabbing everyone by the wallet and shaking them makes a bucket load of cash?!

I would very much like an answer too, I've reached out to Sony but has no response. Most of the apps are useless but the timeless is what i tend to use most, would be disappointing if they have removed these features.

@Dr_Jon I don't see it anywhere? I see a "-" under play-memory, true this is not a 'no' but its not a 'yes" either. (the new rx10 m4 has no play memory support either)

Gmon750: The term "AI" has been watered-down by the media to mean just about anything. There is no "intelligence" being displayed here, only a very confining series of algorithms. There is no "learning".

Enough with the "A.I." diluting!

But wait, the next one uses block-chain to enhance images? ;)

zsedcft: I don't know if someone from DJI monitors popular forums but I am going to stick with my Mavic Pro until there is an upgrade to the image sensor. It seems perfectly feasible to put a 1" sensor in a Mavic Pro body seeing as the Mavic Air has halved the size of the Mavic Pro with very similar specs.

In summary, 1" sensor for the next Mavic Pro, please. That would be a blockbuster release.

@falconeyes I see the page has since been updated, will be very interesting to see who shoots first: Autel or DJI. (also Han shot first) ;)

Get em in young, make them think its the tools they have to have and milk them for the rest of their lives. My dislike for Adobe grows daily.

Roland Karlsson: What exactly do the Corephotonics patent claim?

I mean, you cannot patent having two cameras.

And you cannot (I hope) patent using two cameras and combine them to one virtual zoom lens. It is just too obvious.

There must be something more. Like some clever technique to do it.

So, what was the patent?

If no one beat you to it, you can pretty much patent *anything* in the US.

Neat, but a total and utter waste of talent and resources. They should get those engineers to actually fix the s#itty camera software.
