Finally! Some actual astroimages and not just nighttime landscape photos. Nothing against nighttime landscapes (I'd like to do them myself) but telescopic cold-camera deep sky imaging is in another universe completely. A whole 'nuther level of complexity and difficulty. I'd love to see the image of M104 closer.

ShaiKhulud: For quick RAW review there's nothing that beats IrfanView with plugins. It's 100% free, blazing fast, accurate enough and very reliable. The interface is outdated, but I can live with that.

Two other good viewers (with some editing capabilities and batch ops) are FastStone Image Viewer (Windows) and XnView MP (Windows, Mac, Linux). Both keep a thumbnail cache so they're much faster on subsequent reads of large directories than, for example (the otherwise excellent) Irfanview. FastStone has a free and paid version, XnView MP is free for personal use.

Len Philpot: As you've probably guessed, I'm an amateur astronomer, albeit not (yet?) an astro-imager. I bought a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack last summer and haven't had a chance to try it yet. Either too cloudy, too hot, too rainy... such is life in Louisiana. Any astronomy lately has been with a 6" f/6 GSO Newt OTA on an iOptron AZ Mount Pro, an 80mm f/7.5 achromat on an Astro-Tech Voyager or my 12" f/5 DobSTUFF Dob.

I really enjoyed the break in the deep south weather at the Texas Star Party back in April / May. Been attending most years since 1989.
