When I clicked on the link it says it has a US warranty and is available for delivery by the end of this month or early Feb.

I believe flash was used in the forest image, and a Tamron 17-50/2.8. The first image was with available light and a Sigma 50/1.4.

We recently lost our 15 year old Sheltie, which caused me to look back and find some images of him. These were taken with a D200. I wouldn't trade 'em or change 'em at all... - billkeane.zenfolio.com

Nice images are never obsolete, and I would never buy from a salesperson who knocked what I already own. If the D200 wasn't a great camera, why would you want a new Nikon? Personally, I wouldn't ...

Print wise you'd likely not notice a difference from cameras produced over the last 15 years. It's about whether or not the camera you have in your hands enables captures that another camera ...

Nice capture under challenging circumstances... the branches almost surround the bird. Still, the AF on the eye is perfect (as it needs to be), and the exposure is nice too. I'd have tried to ...

I would contact Nikon directly and stay in touch regarding potential refurbs... It's gonna be awfully hard to find a new one. A smaller brick and mortar store might have one, so be diligent. the ...

In many, if not most of my pitcher shots, the pivot foot is off the rubber by the time the plant foot is fully down (even if the ball hasn't been completely released). And yes, the exposure ...

In general, I have found when shooting the Yankees from the third base side of the diamond, given the super white uniforms and the overall lighting conditions, a tad over-exposure never hurts. ...

Went with my goto combo D500 & 300/4PF... Saw action from daylight well into the night.

When you find an airshow you'd like to attend, with acts/planes you want to see and experience, consider getting a "Photo Pit" pass, since it puts photographers near show center, on the flight ...

Thank so much for the compliments...

It was all great fun! Just me and my D500/300/4 PF... These are the un-cropped results using that combination. I used 9-point dynamic area AF and 3-D tracking with equal happiness.

I would imagine there were similar bulletins about Nikon moving totally to digital from film... First there were rumors, then speculation based on rumors, then actual cameras. This is similar to ...
