romie: What is this?
Romie - its a Bobtail Squid. they grow anywhere from 1cm-8cm. this one in particular was about 12mm. a colony of bacteria grows inside them hence the coloration. the bacteria is called Vibrio fischeri. Very interesting nocturnal animal
