Walmart, Best Buy and Target... prepare to sell thousands of these new entry-level Nikons. If I wasn't such a camera snob, I would buy one too. For me it is FX or nothing.

My wife loves red cameras. I don't.

Samsung is a Korean monster. They are turning out very good products. How about their lenses?

Photo Nuts... you don't know of what you speak. If you did, you would not say such stuff. Please think first.

Canon is losing the pixel wars. The D800 is still the clear winner. Yes, this new Canon offers better video, but I don't shoot much video anyway. I will take great Nikkor lenses and pay $3,000 for 36.3 MP all day and twice on Sunday over this new niche-market Canon. If I were in the video biz (and who isn't in SoCal), I would choose the new Canon, but at what price?

I thought Sony (SLT-A99?) would be out with 4k first, but Canon beat them to the punch. Congrats.

What no 4k video? Maybe, in the upcoming Sony full frame SLT.

If you own a bunch of great Canon lenses where else are you going to go? Not much of a leap from the Mark II.

A very nice looking camera for travel. Love the lens and body combo.

Nicely done 4k. The more buttons the better.

High end cameras were selling like hot cakes at LA's Samy's Camera Saturday. It is amazing to see folks travel from places like New Caledonia all the way to Samy's to get a camera, lenses and supplies. Canon, Sony and Nikon have some great new cameras out. Can't wait to buy one (online) myself.

The low light pix were just okay but the outdoor shots were quite nice on my calibrated UltraSharp U2711.

C'mon, take some pictures in Barstow. Nice camera, boring pix. I would've liked more shots of people though.

A solid lens for a quality camera, congrats Pentax. Well-heeled landscape photographers rejoice.

The E version was not reviewed? An old Deardorff 8x10 junkie is considering that version. My friend, not me.
