Oak Alley is in Louisiana, on the banks of the Mississippi River. Many old plantation homes line the river on both sides. Thanks to both of you for the nice comments.

Many are correct. took while standing over one of those Eastern Sierra tiny dams that are marked "property of the city of Los Angeles"., looking down into the water flow. The gold is reflection from aspens & the blue/white is sky/clouds

Thanks for the comment. This thing and two more similar things( not sure what they do) were lined up outside an abandoned house off the beaten track in Vermont. Tree is oddly cropped to keep house debris out of picture. We can make things look so different just by how we frame!
