"Going" to kill ILC's"- not sure about way to zoom optically with real quality at 100% is a challenge- but the've certainly killed the P&S category!

Yuneec has to respond as the Occusync (DJI) technology has them behind in flight range and video transmission much as I like DJI products I'd like to see other drone manufacturers stay in the game (competition is good) but it's hard to beat DJI as their tech (currently) is just leaps ahead of everyone else.

I think future cameras will eventually feature huge on-board memory and cards won't be needed.........just my .02 cents prediction for the years to come.
I don't think it would be too costly for manufacturers to simply include huge 1TB or so chips in the future.

I wish them good luck with this's nice but with DJI's super successful Mavic Pro stealing all the headlines and sales success- I think they'll need to lower the pricing a bit to be competitive in the crowded drone market. (Not to mention low confidence by consumers.) The Mavic is just killing it right now- DJI can't keep up with the demand!
I wish the Karma was smaller........but alas, best of luck here!

Disappointed- was expecting a bit better......Sony A6000 series is clearly better (pun intended!)

Received mine and VERY satisfied. Tested mine with a Panasonic GF7 camera and 14-42 II lens and it worked great. GripGear has a specified weight capacity of 350 grams and using a USB power bank removes the weight of the AAA batteries used in the motored head allowing a weight savings for small camera use.....GM1, GF7, RX100 etc should all be fine and give the user the ability to create smooth slider footage.
(You can hand-slide the head unit without power and thus use even heavier cameras as the geared motor would not be subject to stress.)
Highly recommended~

I don't think it was mentioned anywhere, but you can order extra track and make the slider as long as you'd like.....extra track is under $15 on Amazon and makes this very versatile and adaptable......I will be shooting video demonstrating it when it arrives.

Gravi: Looks nice and portable. If I read it correctly, I can use it with my Panasonic GM1. Awesome!

I'm planning on using with GM1 as well!

Wow, I'm unimpressed.....for $2000 I thought we'd get much better detail and shadow/highlight detail retention and when compared to the old EM10 and the tiny Panny GM1, I see nearly identical results using the "comparometer".....I'm not seeing a jump in image quality to warrant a $2K price when cameras like the Sony A6500, Fuji XT2 and even the full frame Sony A7II can be had for less........this is a "no buy" for me.......for half the cost you could get the Canon M5 which seems like it would surpass this camera in still image quality............was really wanting this MKII- but not anymore. I'm sure it'll suit many buyers but the quality jump in m4/3 seems limited if this is the best Oly can do...........let's see what the GH5 can produce........if there's no jump in IQ then I see the m4/3 just stagnate or become video-centric cameras.

This seems to be a rebadged "Eken H8R"- I have one and it looks virtually identical....even the remote looks the same!

I wonder if it would allow adapted lenses- meaning it would need a "Shoot w/o lens attached mode" like all the other m4/3 cams....does anyone know if this is possible with this camera?

MarcLee: One error. One lack of mention:

Yes, there IS 23.98p Full HD video, which is the US-friendly equivalent of 24P.

There is a very usable ECO mode which gives you battery life of around 310 shots, which is actually BETTER than the RX100 Mk IV and not bad at all considering touch screens drain more battery.

People should not be misled on these factors by this review.

Another error is the camera is listed as having a mic port when it does not- it's some type of accessories port.

What a let down for such a nicely designed camera........saw one at BestBuy and loved it.........but sadly performance is dismal.
If this ever hits the $499 price point perhaps i'll pick one $799- it just doesn't make sense with all the superior alternatives.........Canon has to do something- Sony is taking over!

The Canon G5X is listed as having a mic in port- it does not, please correct this.......I almost bought one and learned it's not actually a mic port....would have been a regrettable purchase.
