EF extenders will work between the lens and adapter, just like with an EF mount body.

It looks like there isn't yet a profile for DPP. Use the in camera corrections and they're already applied in DPP.

There is indeed a mount for a lens hood. Lens Hood ES-65B to be specific.

Sigh... Read the original post again. They're not asking about leaving the power on. They're asking about leaving the adapter on the body - with the power off.

The OP has an RP which doesn't close the shutter. I leave the adapter on the RP I use with EF lenses to protect the sensor a bit more. Haven't had any problems doing it that way.

That's normal. There is a gap. The actual bayonet protrudes a bit from the outside base of the lens. I suspect it's just the angle of view with respect to a gap appearing different.

Like others have said, even DPP is not good at HDR. My choice is Photomatix Pro.
