About me:

It was 37 years ago I got my first 35 mm Olympus Om1N and began my journey into photography. After recently retiring from a full time career I decided to begin putting my many picures onto smugmug in hopes that others would like to put one of my friends onto their wall. Thats what my pictures are, they are my friends. I am not hurt or offended if they arent for you. I only hope you put someones pictures on your wall or your own so you can enjoy the art of seeing. A picture should say something to you everyday for the rest of your life.

Once again Canon is on top of the resolution war with a solid camera .Imagine a medium format in the size of a DSLR and all of the people who want to use the Canon lenses they have will be satisfied. This camera is a game changer for people who do landscapes, portraits, fashion, food and autos to name a few. Nikon must be having a bad day at this news. I hope they dont rush to keep up and bring something out that not thought out. Wow is all I can say.

I agree completely with the authors premise . To think you are going
to buy cameras with cropped sensors and eventually end up at full
a full frame sensor camera is illogical. If you want a full frame your going to have
simply buy one and new lenses . Yes it's expensive but you can always sell your
old gear . A larger sensor makes for a higher detailed image .
