I am thinking Z 800mm rented for 1-week, plus few days. Returning day after trip. Would want few days before trip to ensure arrival and time to test and play.

How is that possible, when all we ever see is: This product is back-ordered Out of Stock Coming Soon Notify me when in stock

One of those Nikon Z lens I don't get when there already is Nikon Z 70-200mm which can be coupled to TC-2.0x providing 140-400 S f/5.6 for about same cost as 100-400.

Z 200-600mm should have already been released and on shelves by now.

If you count a Yellow Bar (with label) as being on roadmap for Z 200-600mm; lens was shown back on a late 2019 roadmap. https://cloudfront.slrlounge.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/NIKKOR-Z-Lens-Roa ...

Call Amazon, ask them what they would like to do. Amazon may decide to write it off. For 1) The lens is no longer brand new, thus they have to rectifier lens to sell it, and 2) Return shipping ...

I'm just not seeing it...

Hopefully, no Aliens aim a Laser Point at it...

Nikon Z7ii's strap isn't. Ended up getting a USA Gear TrueSHOT Camera Strap with black Neoprene. Strap has accessory pockets and quick release buckles. One issue with strap is Neoprene does not ...

It's plain confusing. Awkwardly laid out. Apple's best video editing software was iMovie 6 HD. Sensibly laid out, easy for beginners, powerful enough for Pro-consumers, with ability to add...

Don't have a Z9, instead have Z7ii. I would get Z 24-70mm f/2.8 lens first. To my eye, it is a 5-star lens.

What HowaboutRAW asked. Only issue I have with Nikon Z7ii is having to carry around Radio Flash Controller dongle vs. RFC being built-in. One advantage Z7ii has over Z9. Z7ii can be thinned down...

There are two + one lenses that Nikon has (seems) completely forgotten: Z 200-600mm f/ (whateveritis) Forgot the dead dream lens. Z version (and improved version) of 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 EDVR

Not sure Nikon knows when Z 200-600m is coming out. Been on Z Roadmap since 2019, as long mandelbrot. May be overlooked lens. :-P

Speaking of U1, U2, & U3 Why can't Nikon allow a user to label U1, U2, & U3 something meaningful and show it in displays? For example: U1 = BIF U2 = Flash Photog U3 = Low Light

Perhaps because I have worked with portable flashes for decades and decades, I would have gone with SB-5000 with Nikon's plug-in Flash Radio controller. Why Nikon can't build Flash Radio Controller ...

Something for most part Thom and I agree on. Nikon menus layout ... needs a search engine.
Activity older than 12 months is not displayed.
