    Thanks.  We were singing carols in a carpark, with the fields next door - the grass was backlit by the low sun - and there you have it, right in the middle of ordinary things these wonderful moments.

  • Astonishing and wonderful. I've only seen an owl in the flesh twice and one if those times was him lit up in my headlights driving home late at night.
  • Thanks, I've usually only seen the pied shags close up and I was surprised to see the lovely eyes on the cormorant. These guys seemed quite tame so it was easy to get close to them
