The comment section proves that why I would like to have a video test with higher ISOs (which I understand, as explained by Richard, is complicate even to start with design), as the existing studio test scene does not quite cover what A7s's are capable of.

But of course, "do we really need that just for A7s?", that's a different story.

D_Gunman: I can't believe the finger flipping turtle did not make it to the finalist. Many of these finalists aren't that funny at all. Many photo from qualification round are better.

Maybe because the turtle is not a pet?

This won't be well received, let's hope Sony not let the concept but the design to take the blame.

Have you considered testing videos at different ISOs @DPReview?

I think that this thing wont last, it will continue to fade, just like the part that weren't covered during the "exposure".

We call it food.

3/4 of the article is focused on China, while equally or even much more serious crises are expected in other places in the world.
Many other countries can be the next Italy, Iran, or Korea, yet these three haven't even reached their climax.

spider-mario: They appear to have misunderstood the license that they picked. The images are accompanied by a document which states that:

“The photograph thus provided must remain under CC0 licence, so it is prohibited to sell the file”

But the CC0 license absolutely does not make any such provision… that’s the whole point.

If they wanted the license of copies and derivatives to stay the same, they should have picked one of the “Share-alike” licenses from Creative Commons.

I think they are trying to avoid things like this:

Just come up with an idea (likely not new), so I just post it here, is it theoretically possible to fake a removable media like CFexpress with a regular SSD? The similar way as "fake" batteries for those cameras that can't be charged while shooting.

You might need a special soap and water though, otherwise you won't be able to clean the cloth.
