I think you have misunderstood the concept of this challenge. Street lights are not natural objects - they are man-made.
I thought this was a b/w challenge??
Harveydad: Has anybody noticed how many "winter landscapes" are included here, when the rule specifically states "no winter landscapes"?
And a new winter landscape just entered (and even titled, "winter landscape")
I only see one animal species in this one. There are supposed to be two
And the second animal is?
I like how the squirrel photo bombed you!! LOL
I'm not seeing a second animal species in this shot
I don't know for sure, but it doesn't look like the noise matches between the cathedral, the moon, and the airplane. I would say it is likely this is a composite photo...
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is NOT a pelican. This is a picture of a heron...
I'm truly sorry, Patch. Looks like a >50% DQ rate for a simple challenge. What a pity.
Jaffa must be blocking the human in this picture
That's the strangest cat's paw I've ever seen... what breed?
Challenge criteria: Human and cat outdoors...
Your entry: human - no; cat - no;
Well done.

Small? Those are the largest cats I've ever seen!
That's a mighty fine picture of a cat.... oops!
This cat entry seems to have misplaced their human.
I suppose you entered your person and cat picture in the last challenge which was for dogs? Well done.
Mark Evans Kent: One or more pet or feral dog. Doesn't say pet dog or feral dog, read it yourself then quote.
I like wasting my time doing this!
Your mistake is in assuming that the incorrect entries were by entrants that actually READ the rules. Personally, I think there are so many incorrect entries because they choose NOT to read the criteria not that they don't understand it.
I think they meditated the dog right out of the picture!
