iheza: People complaining about the size and weight of this camera really are a bunch of ignorant nitwits. This is a flagship workhorse camera for professionals who need a tough, reliable and weather sealed camera with lots of connectivity (full size hdmi) and spacious ergonomics for long handheld use. If you want a smaller camera and don't need all these advanced video features then Panasonic offers them too (GX80/85 for example). Or go buy a smaller Sony camera that overheats in 10 minutes and doesn't have 25% of the video features the GH5 has. This camera pushes the boundaries of what a mirrorless camera can do and it will force other companies to step up their game and innovate like Panasonic has. This camera is king. *bows down

Sure, I could use a hug, reading dumb comments on the internet is a stressful activity. But please don't lift my wallet, I need the money to buy the GH5.

plantdoc: Another amazing camera with features and technology that I want but actually really don't need. I hope some of the key features move down into a somewhat less spec camera for about 1/2 the price or less. My video needs are more basic and easily handled by a $200 camcorder. Never the less, a very impressive piece of technology.

Greg

That camera already exists.. the Panasonic G80/G85
