Usually a seller in Japan will indicate if there are issues such as haze, dust, etc. Those are the lenses I would stay away from. When I buy from Japan, it's usually for AI/AIS, D lenses; I ...

I found the sellers honest in their description of the lenses they were selling and the prices were fair. But if you had a bad experience of course you wouldn't be buying from those sellers.

I bought several lenses from Japan, all in excellent condition, and to be frank, I would rather buy camera gear from Japan than many of the private sellers on eBay.

I was considering the 16-80 but read it was soft around the edges; is this a lens you would recommend in terms of IQ?

The H2 definitely has a more substantial grip, but I have a large hand and zero problem dealing with the T4. You could go to camerasize.com and compare both cameras in various views.

I find IBIS an important reason to get the XT4 rather than the 3, especially for shooting in low light and the fact that not all Fuji lenses have image stabilization. I rarely flip the screen out ...

A: I don't think Fuji is the camera that works as well with AFC as Nikon or Sony and... B: I really don't understand why people who aren't happy with its AF would buy into the Fuji System.

If you want fast almost fool proof AF buy a Nikon DSLR; even the D750 will AF in near dark. On the other hand, I've never had issues with the XT4 and AF, probably because of the way I shoot. I ...

40 mp does mean large file sizes and more noise at higher ISO. The XT5 is a really good camera, so if you shoot at base ISO which shouldn't be an issue given image stabilization, noise won't be a ...

I bought a used D810 from B&H for about $1200 in near perfect condition. Check around if you want to save money.

I never buy anything I'm not sure about so I perhaps you should go with Sony. On another note, I've been using Fuji since the XE1 and never had major disappointment with its AF. Slow at times, ...

I offered practical help as did many others posting here. Unfortunately he wasn't interested in taking any of it. And as far as explaining how to adjust RAW settings in post, there are ...

You either have no clue what shooting raw and editing in post is about or too arrogant to take the advice of those here who have more experience than you.
-
If you're shooting raw why worry what the image looks like in terms of color coming out of the camera since you can adjust the colors in post?
-
The beauty of photography is you can always trend on over to Sony, Canon and Nikon.

Are there any photos well above the base ISO from the XH2? Curious what a 40 mp sensor in an aps-c body will produce. I have an XE1 and an XT4 and the XE1 is by far the winner in anything over...

I didn't state there was a problem with that but if you looking for a reason to get into it, look elsewhere.

I wonder where B&H gets their warrantied grey market cameras and lenses repaired?
-
My understanding is charging the battery in the camera via usb is not the safest option.

Not shipping a charger and a manual with electronics is a way of reducing cost.
