Horshack: When this smartphone fad peters out and everyone returns back to their rotary phones the camera companies will have the last laugh.

In few years from now smartphones will be following the same downward slope.
People are getting fed up with the mobile social hysteria way faster than the serious camera sales are shrinking.

Make this article less eerie - add Pentax financials.

Vic Gedris: What are people doing to their SD cards that makes them require a "tough" version?

Using them.

What a waste purpose for such a wonderful vintage product.

" To achieve this, Apple has increased airflow by 18% and made the heat sink 35% larger compared to the previous-generation MacBook Pro. "
I want to hear the vents in heavy load situations - the primary reason i'd never use a laptop for "pro" stuff - the high pitch noise gives me a headache.

Steven Blackwood: I'm confused. For years we've been told not to use SSDs for anything but system and program file, not for heavy read/write operations. Which is it?

There are different types of SSDs - pro level ones are fine for any kind of work. And even recommended for scratch and cache dump due to the higher w/r speed, and also for their extended life cycle.

Slapstick Noir: Wait, didn't Apple invent the thing?
But then RED built "around" it their own version, and then wanted to be payed for it?
If that's the case, why didn't RED create their own - like BlackMagic B-RAW ?
What the f is going on?

Wow! So Apple "borrowed" the tech and tried to sue RED because the latter wanted to be paid for a patent they invented?
This is a f'd up world, I swear!

And "Finicky USB charging" is sooo crucial for the skin tones:P

They just copy-pasted from the general reviews.

Photo Liz: For almost everyone the real answers are:
iPhone 11
Pixel 4
P30 Pro
In decent lighting even 8x10 prints look damn good, as well as on any phone, tablet or average size computer display.
But if you are looking for something better, Canon and Nikon are the best answers.

"But if you are looking for something better, Canon and Nikon are the best answers."
True. But if you're looking for the best - Sony!

Good point - FE 135mm f/1.8 G Master would be my top-choice.
