A totally amateur 'tog but a bit obsessed. I am something of a gadget geek and have a degree in physics (most of which I have forgotten). The gadget side, the art and a chance to learn lots of stuff all appeal to me.

Equipment: Nikon D700 (waiting for the right FX )
An 18-300 as of two days ago.
28-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8(both freakin' heavy but wonderfully sharp), Tamron 2x, Prooptic 8mm (more fun than I expected)
Tamron 10-24, old nikon 105 2.8 macro

I'll replace it all when they invent a "glass" that is 1/3 the weight (any rumours?).
