Tasbir: It's sad what happened in Australia (due to that massive fire), but how is that a Wildlife photo? I know the fire affects wildlife and ecosystem, but shouldn't it show a wildlife (animal, bird etc) to consider it a wildlife photo?

If the winning photograph had been taken by anyone other than Steve Irwin's son, it would not have got a mention.

Not at all keen on anything from Adobe since their user information database has been hacked - at least two times.

mkochano: I'm really surprised how different are colors in video (R6) and in photos (Z7 II).

I assume they are taken at more or less same time and conditions were similar.

To me the Z7 II colors are worth million dollars more ;)

See here for example: https://g4.img-dpreview.com/046E55F149FA476CBC75891455336B25.jpg

Can you explain the difference? Is that photo vs video? Or Nikon JPEG engine? Or maybe Jordan is not used to R6 files? Or is that only me? ;)

SteveAnderson - "Fanaticism really is taking over facts." Something you've become adept at. See below.

"And factually, Nikon colour is no where near as accurate as Canon." - Poor grammar aside, where are your "facts"?

Funny Valentine: 20 megapixels is more than enough for any professional use. Also with "only" 20 megapixels and RF lenses it's easier to achieve pixel level sharpness and get that "3D pop" look.

And "640K ought to be enough for anybody", yeah?

I will feel even more so when i get rid of Adobe in the very near future.

saiko - I have been very annoyed with Adobe ever since their very slack "security" permitted millions of users' account details to be hacked. Not just once, but at least twice that they admit to. I also am not a fan of the subscription method.
What software are you using now in place of Adobe?

I will never forgive Adobe for their very slack data security. My personal data were stolen in a hack of Adobe's user's database resulting in unauthorised access to some of my personal accounts and my spending days sorting out the mess. Thank you Adobe.

Thomas Rose - No matter how skilled one is, the very best image quality from this unit will never rise beyond pedestrian. Fact.

They also make some nice lenses. Price is good.

MikeRan - Once you eliminate all posts not supportive of the collective Sony owners' views, you cease to have a forum. "Group Think" is not particularly healthy.

zxaar - Oh dear. I also erred by comparing the A9II with mirrorless cameras not equipped with a red/orange band near the lens mount. How dreadfully remiss of me.
