Sdaniella: 2008 Canon ExpSim LV already available across the board APSC/APSH/FF EOS dSLRs
like prosumer Canon FF EOS 5DMkII w/1080p FHD Manual Capable M-Movie mode
True ExpSim LV = getting perfect exposures First-Time-Right (=never need to review for retakes; zero-chimpcentric)

2008 Sony prosumer FF dSLR ... A900 ... no Exposure Simulation Live Preview*
*unsaveable "no-storable-pic" exposure simulation live preview "mode"; to capture pic, one must turn mode off, then take a 2nd shot ... "chimping"-centric

ditto: 2009 Sony budget FF dSLR A850 no LV whatsoever ...

2017, I'm waiting for a Canon with IBIS...

Naveed Akhtar: there you go .. just when i was about to taking sony alpha system seriously (bec of recent improvement in lens lineup) .. Pany announced this ..
Okey i will wait, Pany/Fuji!!

The Pregius line are EXMOR CMOS sensors, with high DR and low noise, but they are small sensors and I have no idea if they can scale them to bigger sizes.

jtan163: Oly and Sony's partner ship pays off for Sony.
This will be a total monster for adapting lenses.
When the A7sII comes out it will be an even more incredible video camera.

Then the original Olympus IBIS is a Sony design (after buying Konica-Minolta that had the patent) and now the Sony IBIS is a Olympus design?
It doesn't make any sense. Both are proprietary designs.

Maddrew: DPReview should've limited the submission to one image per user.

I don't agree. A single image isn't representative, in the vast majority of the cases, of a photographer's portfolio. A single post by user is a better idea IMO.

dervish_candela: only $40 to have your camera break when you drop it, instead of just the mount.
well done!

It's the same that with all A-Mount cameras, they have a metal mount, except the entry level A58, but all of them are screwed over plastic to avoid that kind of breakage.
