I have Z50 with 3 kits lens, 28 2.8 SE and Viltrox 23 1.8. I like the Viltrox a lot for my type of photography. Viltrox also make a 33 and 56 which are reportedly quite good. But if you plan to ...

The whining about the notch is becoming a meme.

Lol. Thanks for catching that. Running FCPX on 16 bit rather than 16 GB would truly be amazing.

I have the M1MBA with 16 bit RAM, and it can run FCPX like a champ without heating up at all. It looks like the MBA M2 will have 18% CPU and 30% GPU improvement. I don't see any reason to go Pro,...

Perhaps slightly on single thread performance but nowhere near the Ultra in multithread.

I was doing a lot of video on D600 a decade ago, which was a challenge. Since the D600 (and D750 uses contrast detect AF), the videos would be ruined whenever the subject moved, and the camera had ...

Again, if you have to ask, you don't need it or understand the value. This is for professionals who want the best desktop available without the hassle of noise and constant maintenance or...

As I read previously, most human eye/brain is unable to consciously register images at frame rates faster than 60 (I guess 18 year old gamers may be able to process 100 fps). There was a study that ...

So if the latency is 26 ms based on the LCD (and presumably the EVF), and assuming most humans can see at or below 60 hz (16 ms) on a monitor, then the lag is incredibly small and may be beyond ...

Just saw that JJC now makes a hood for this lens on eBay for $15 and free shipping.

Thanks for the advise. Something to aspire to, someday.

So does your 180-400 supplant all your other super tele?

Your points make sense. I like traveling with prime lenses, but changing lenses on the fly is a hassle. Often times, I just need a sharp and wide 24 and 80 for most of my needs. If I could get a ...

That is quite an amazing lens but way beyond the reach or need for us, mere mortals. I was think something as slightly more affordable.

400 mm with a built in TC seems to perform exceptionally well. I wonder if there are advantages for this type of design over conventional zoom; perhaps lighter design with exceptional wide open ...

Just googled the question and it reports that a human eye can see motion as quick as 13 ms as it refers to image recognition. I guess flick fusion you refer is not related to recognition.

I guess I am talking about video panel refresh rate. Not sure what flicker fusion means.
