I've owned 3 Sony cameras (A55, NEX 5T, and A7Rii) that overheated/shutdown in less time on hot days and were then "bricked" for more than 20 minutes.
If you want mostly video, just get a GH5/GH5s, XT3, or Z6. Those are the best video cameras these days.
