Malling: Good for L-mount, completely irrelevant for E-mount as there is already a Sony G f/1.8 20mm that costs nearly the same and weight the same… Therefore I see little sales success of this on E-mount…

It'll cost over 20% less than the Sony, which is not what I'd call "nearly the same". Yes, the Sony 20/1.8 is a good lens, but since when is more choice at specific focal lengths a bad thing, especially if there's also a choice of price?

Oh good, maybe the Sony 20/1.8 will get a discount now to compete!

Mr Bolton: Gee, I wonder which 'USA based fulfillment facility' it was that they had to bring to heel..

Not necessarily the one you're thinking of (but it probably is). A whole range of big companies now use the US warehousing model for third-party sales (Walmart, and Newegg to name but two others).

It may only be a small thing, but I'm still blown away by the fact that high-end laptops like these STILL only have a 720p webcam (and usually a bad one at that). Sure, I try to use an external webcam (Brio), but it's not always possible when on the road and being stuck with a potato cam image on a zoom call with a client is a bit embarrassing! When oh when are manufacturers going to start offering decent 1080p webcams at a minimum?! HP gives us a Dreamcolor display but a dudcolor webcam.
