IMO, Tokina should've just released this with a body design for cinema since they're making a point about how minimal the focus breathing is. Then maybe they can release a version for photography...

Isn't KamLan Korean? Or was it just Samyang? Anyway, I thought they already closed down because their social media accounts have been dead for so long.

Fujifilm appeasement after the medium format brouhaha from bitter Fujifilm users.

Looks like any other 50mm lens tbh.

I wish they could stick to a lens aesthetic design though. I really love their 17mm 1.4 but the tapered barrel just feels odd and hard to use as it's just mostly a smooth surface.

I personally love my Mitakon 35mm 0.95 and a cheap ass 25mm 1.8 CCTV lens. My Mitakon is sharp at 0.95 at the center and I really like the rendering. It's great for my cafe vlogs too. The cheap ...

To me, it's to add a better rangefinding ability to a rangefinder style camera. š¤·āāļø But I guess I triggered the shutter release of many with their heads stuck in the sand.

Mine too. Very easy to manual focus and little fringing. Better than the Fujifilm 16 and 35 1.4 in terms of fringing in my experience. I just wish the aperture ring was stiffer.

the rain just transforms everything, doesn't it?

Sony is better. Had an X-T3. I'm using an X-H1 now (because I have big hands and I prefer MF anyway).

Just do away with the ratings and instead focus on telling which field or areas the camera excels at? IMO, it's the % ratings and awards don't really help in making decisions.
