On article Sony's Mavica FD71 liked floppy disks, hated magnets (82 comments in total)

davesurrey: What a coincidence! As I've mentioned elsewhere, last weekend I picked up a Canon D30 and a couple of Mavica FD90 cameras for a total of £25. All are working well and in great condition.
The Mavicas have proved fun and surprisingly easy to use. At 1472x1104 the IQ is, well..."interesting" but it must have been revolutionary when it first was launched.
With very few control, options and menus I wonder where it all went wrong cf today's cameras.
Thanks for another TBT article. How about doing one on my Canon D30?
