perry rhodan's current gear

FujiFilm FinePix S6000fd (FinePix S6500fd)
Fujifilm X30
Fujifilm XF1
A classic. Still very nice color rendering in jpeg. Nice 28-300 manual zoom. Flash hotshoe that works well with even the newest flashes. With the nissin i40 even remote flash works great. It is slow and uses that weird XD card.
Have 2. Still hoping Fuji will expand the line further. (I know it is a slim chance)
Sorry I could not get a second one in time. The sensor with this 24-100 lens is extremely good for the size.
Olympus Tough TG-4
Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 (Lumix DMC-TZ7)
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX100V
In experienced hands works wonders in macro stacking.
In his time it was a very handy compact. It still works, that's it.
A classic. Still my do it all hand-out cam for family members. Unpleasant battery charging.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX50V
Canon EOS Rebel SL1 (EOS 100D)
Fujifilm X-T10
If I could take just one. This would be it. The HX 90 has seriously less IQ. Hope the HX95 will be better (if it ever arrives). If not soon I will buy a second HX50.
Small, superb flash (Inboard and with the nissin i40). Excellent fill flash. The newest line of the basic aps-c line lenses marvels in AF SPEED. The AF speed in liveview with the 18-135 usm is (nano) is very good.
Very nice IQ. Very unpleasant ergonomics. Very unpleasant hollow feeling. Flash mediocre, with Inboard and external flashes.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM
Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5–5.6 IS STM
Canon EF-S 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM
Super sharp. Nice MF. Very inexpensive. Af speed and noise so so.
The main reason I came back to canon dslr.
Lightning fast AF. Even with the older 100D. IQ is good for the range. Shares the 10-18 hood (works 95% as good as the dedicated).
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Fora kitlens it is very nice. AF great. IQ great. Works very good with the active macro extension adapter's.
Other gear:
  • Nissin i40 One of the most compelling intelligent small flashes of our Time!
  • Nissin i60 One of the small intelligent and powerfull flashes of our Time!
  • Olympus LG 1 An excellent Addition to the TG4 for macro focusstacking. Extremely usefull gadget for macro on the go.

Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2
Nikon Coolpix 990
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70
Very sophisticated compact. Years ahead. Crazy flexible body. So so IQ above iso 100.
A classic. Sorry it died. The concrete floor was stronger :-( . Superb macro, very flexible split body. The CF cards were gigantic in size and price. Amazing prints up to 40x50cm from this 3.4 MP .
After the very nice and informative reactions I got on the panasonic threads about my rating its likely I got 2 bad copies. That somehow changes my idea about my rating. Consider it bad luck. But don't want to try another. Thanks guys for all the well written input!
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300
Canon EOS 20D
Canon EOS 450D (EOS Rebel XSi / EOS Kiss X2)
Very dissapointing IQ. All the bells and whistles, DFD, 4K and weatherproofing cannot camouflage the mediocre IQ. The HX 100 and HX 50 are miles better.
A real classic. 8MP was/is still enough for me. Sorry I sold it. Most likely the 80D or next 90D will be the newest in my xxD line.
Oh well. Uninspiring body and so so sensor. But with the nice canon color.
Nikon D90
Nikon D300S
Olympus PEN E-PL1
My first and best Nikon Dxx body. Sorry I sold it.
What a Grip! The best I had from nikon. The D90 was better overall for me.
What a svelte and nice camera. The 9-18 mft with this one was a winner. IQ ok up to iso 400.
Nikon D7000
Olympus PEN E-PL2
Sony Alpha NEX-5N
A bitter dissapointment. After 3 samples and several nikon sent backs I sold the lot and left nikon permanently. Mirrorslap and erratic AF were all over the place. And Nikon kept silent for months. Yukkk.
The 9-18 mft made me come back. Rather uninspiring sensor and body.
Great sensor. So so lens set.
Sony SLT-A57
Sony Alpha NEX-6
Olympus OM-D E-M10
A nice and speedy SLT. The mediocre AF with Contre-Jour was very irritating while shooting wildlife.
Nice sensor and size. Nasty flash Inboard and on board. So so lens set and menu's.
Speedy and nice touchscreen. Nice 9-18 mft (my second one from the epl-2). Extremely cluncky menu's and handling even after 2 years of use it was a dog in handling for me. Lenses mostly great and cheap. IQ good, but jpeg and RAW both overprocessed (cooked). Unnatural bokeh. Mediocre flash in and onboard. The last of the mft for me.
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm 1:4-5.6 R
The last mft lens I bought. Nice AF, wr, sturdy. Good bokeh for this sort of lens. Good MFD. Rather expensive.
