  • Commented on article Sony Cyber-shot RX10 IV review

Cameras are to produce pictures, unless you buy for camera itself. I don't see the "very" very much. Don't get the ah's and oh's as well.

  • Commented on article Sony Cyber-shot RX10 IV review

I've never put an "equal" mark between them. It's too little improvement for too much in terms of PQ. Check picture comparisons. Corners are about the same on both. Sony has a bit better jpeg...

  • Commented on article Sony Cyber-shot RX10 IV review

Not taking anything away from Sony RX10IV, which is still a fine camera... this review shows how great of a deal is FZ1000. Almost negligible degradation is sharpness vs. a saving of about $1000....

  • mbot You still, really, have no idea what "present continuous" represents. Can't help you beyond that. Your thoughts are scattered all over. Maybe you'll get it some day...
    Btw. cameras do cost,...

  • @ Impulses
I'd worry more about my own margins rather then Sigma's. They know what they're doing. Shows they plan and want to sell a lot. Also shows their priorities, not price but...

  • re. mbot's language remarks...
Some may say Australian sounds funny... just like American E. may be unbearable to your ears, which it seems to be. We don't speak the way we speak because your...

  • Proves how little you know about lenses. Concluding your thought, Sony packed so much glass into the lens... and still can't match Leica... is that it? LOL. Check Leica Q... no tiny Summilux...

  • Price point envy? No one is price envious about Pentax 645z (even though they cost about the same), or Canon 1Dx... but THIS? This is, in today's standards, less then half a camera for 3x the...

  • "And you can't match better Leica M lenses for optical quality."

Well, unless you buy Zeiss lens...

  • Sure, it's as simple as Nikon d3000, minus VR and couple other things. Less camera (inside) for more money.

  • @mandophoto, you wrote "The Sony 50mm f1.4 is gigantic while the Summilux is tiny in comparison." Sony's is a smart lense, stabilised, while Leica's is a dumb one, just glass in a metal tube.

  • I highly doubt if RED could handle hours of continuous TV broadcasts without going on fire. Not designed for that, and this Sharp is. Big difference.

  • @mbot "No, you're wrong. People these days are not aware of every grammatical form, "which" evidently includes you...
    "Cost" is still present-tense continuous!"

No, it is not. "...is costing" is...

  • Not an Iphone user but... just a few years ago most would kill to have this functionality in one piece of electronics, 4K video, photo, (almost) full computer capabilities... phone... and yet, as I...

  • Seems many reviews don't agree. Love my AMOLED. RX100, even v.V can't compete in web functionality, playback, size and versatility... fits in the pocket and gives me weather report. Anytime I want.

  • That truly sounds like anyone... LOL

  • Plenty cell phones on tripods on press conferences... any idea why?

  • @Bgpgraebner
"I’m sure lots of people would argue that spending $1700 on a fixed lens (albeit with a 1” sensor) is stupid as well, that with this amount of money you can buy a great APS-C...
