  • Replied in A burst of color
A little over processed but I liked the  result.
  • I don't think you need to improve your technique with the car much. Looks like a great job to me.
  • The first one was taken with the EM-1 with the DSLR 70-300 lens attached via adapter. The lens was fully extended and the  camera was handheld I had quite  a time with getting a proper focus. It ...
  • Replied in Frame hog
Don't you just hate it when someone walks into the frame just as you click the shutter. It ruins the picture every time, or maybe not. http://www.pbase.com/waynes6
  • I should be so lucky as to have scenes like that to shoot. What is that white stuff on the ground? Whatever it is it doesn't exist in Texas.
  • Replied in Riverwalk
Taken yesterday on the San Gabriel river in Georgetown, Tx. A not so deep river as you can see. You will really  like this one  better in the original size.
  • A full  range of gear or not, it's a fine looking craft, well photographed.
  • I don't know about the rest of the people who frequent this forum but I am super impressed with this set of images. The POV is excellent and the tonality is beyond compare. Nice work Lou.
  • Replied in Trolling......
Now that is a beautiful image. I don't know if it's the blue of the boat, or the bearded gentleman standing up, or maybe the hat he's wearing but I really like this one.
  • Bright, colorful and sharp. What more could we ask for?
  • Replied in Flowers Again
Andrew, you need to stop posting these flower images. Now the rest of us are afraid to post any because they don't live up to yours. We are getting an inferiority complex. -- http://www.pbase.com/w ...
  • Nice images aqs always and I really enjpy the commentary always goes with them. Thanks for these.
  • Taken a few days ago at a local watering hole. The leaves were green but I used a specific filter to turn them yellow. Why? I thought it added some color and improved the photo. Take a look at it ...
  • Replied in Crinan Harbour
Nicde images but I like the tractor best. I must be related to Andrew. It's a little strange that there are no brand markers located anywhere on the vehicle. Even if they were painted over you ...
  • Replied in Biergarten
I thought for sure you were in Munich after reading the title. But beer is beer nomatter the setting.  I mentioned Munich because I spent three years near there back in the 50s and may not have ...
  • Beatiful as usual. I really like the purple one against the sky.
  • Taken at Rockport Texas on thr Gulf Coast. As always, the "origi nal version" may show better.
  • Great images as usual Rich and a new car to boot. Life is good! You might click on my link below and give Pbase gallery a try. I pay $43 per year but you can pay less.  It depends on how many ...
  • That is a great set of landscape images but #2 is above and beyond. The cloud reflection is impressive. Did you try that one in B&W?
  • It looks like a great place to walk around with a camera in your hand. Is that your bicycle?
