snap: After receiving a DQ'd email for my entry - I've sent a message to the Host saying that many entrants are interpreting his rule "No Later Than 60s" as Pre-60s models. Because there are still quite a few entries still in this challenge that are of an image of automobiles from the 40s and 50s. Even the Sample Image is not a newer than 60s model.

Hi Alfiethemastiff
Exactly. Seems like the host doesn't see his wording "No Later Than" like we are interpreting.
To confuse things even more is the word "Classic Cars" in this challenge title plus the Sample Image - which is from the host's own gallery - doesn't quite match "newer than the 1960s rule". So we'll see what'll be done, if anything.

Hi Alfiethe mastiff
Yes, Host shuttrbug emailed me - He wrote: Thanks for your response. I have already disqualified quite a number of entries that did not meet the rules.

However, there are still many many entries that are pre-60s cars, including new entries that are submitted this morning.

Congratulations Dave! Winning image indeed - this one blew me away when I first saw you post it on Fuji along with many wonderful scenes from Thailand. No matter what camera you use - you always bring out fantastic images. Your talent is admired by all.

Thank you.
I was surprised and honored that it placed so well in the challenge because the focus is off and highlights are blown.
I've entered two more of my cat's photos in "The Cat's Whiskers" Challenge.
They placed 8th and 31st. Thanks again.
