About me:

I've been taking pictures for 50 years. I like flowers and plants, nature, small-scale landscapes (i.e. a field rather than a huge vista). Having grown up with slide film, I'm content to use jpegs straight from the camera and only make adjustments if the horizon is sloping or if the picture needs a little crop. I always buy secondhand cameras.

YuryVilin: I will give these guys at CaNikoSony an idea of what I really want and will buy in a pinch: 24-200/4.0 bridge cam akin Lumix DC-FZ1000 capable of computational wizardry a-la Google Pixel. Don't go crazy on sensor size, nothing bigger than 1" is needed. Price it in sub-1K range. This thing will sell faster than they can make it. Am I asking for too much?

With USB charging, a hinged screen and a reasonable viewfinder and sell it with a lightweight rain proof cover. Where do I sign?
