miric: Amazingly slow and uncertain focusing at least on X-E2. Not sure if something changed since that time.

Yes, a lot of things changed since X-E2! Don't get me wrong, I love X-E2 as much as I say they should have kept the button placements for the X-E3. Going back to the 55-200, it works well on faster focusing newer bodies.

Adrian Mahovics: So, what is the benefit of using this app, opposed to the stock Photos app and its "live photos" function?

Yes, of course! and you, did you bother to learn the "live photos" function on the iPhone? Because it is doing exactly what this add on app describes to do.

As much as I like DP Review I do not like if you talk about products which not available yet!... You mention the periscope style camera in the unit, from which you could not tell actual facts in your writing... Please just stick with fact based infos and live the speculative news to the other sites who do this better. Thanks!

Tical: Apple is not the company it used to be anymore: once they were leader in innovation in every field with their own resources, now they just go shopping startups. They did (discretely) the same with Redmatica, Camel Audio and countless other small companies.
I don't know whether this is the beginning of their end or not (possibly not) but I know for sure I don't like them anymore, even though my first Apple purchase dates back to 1987 (Mac SE30) and ever since I've used their products both for profession and hobbies.

I don’t see anything wrong with that. At least they have the chance to capitalise on tech like this which is Good for us users!

Kandid: Tell me, tell me do - why is 4k video on a GH5 praised as 'the bees knees' whereas if you crop a ff sensor to a bigger size than as the GH5 sensor to shoot video at 4k its a disaster on a par with the Titanic sinking....? Real Q - enlighten me?????

Because you buy a full frame camera! You are expecting a full frame look for the price of carrying a full frame body and full frame capable lens set! Remember, those GH5 and smaller M43 bodies are lighter and their lenses are the size and weight which you would expect to an M43 system.

When it’s about focal length, can you please specify it in “mm” to 35mm format. Thanks.

scoobysnapstories: I just dont see carrying an iphone x + attachable lenses inside my pocket. fyi, hipsters, this is a total fail. then you see something trying to get that moment, but need to align the lenses into your camera. fail? yes. so many reasons to get a pocket camera like sony, pana, nikon, canon, fuji, ricoh etc. funny also, cheaper than a phone.

If you don't see yourself doing this sort of photography with your phone, then why are you reading this post and why are you commenting on it at all!

Mariano Pacifico: This contraption is absolutely ridiculous! I'm fine with my GoPro and synch my video to my phone to mass-text it to my friends.

Because your GoPro shoots 360!... You are just un-be-lievable! You are getting a 360 camera for 50 dollars, that is GREAT! You should be thanking it AND if you do not need it, then just walk off!

skanter: Sorry, nothing against the guy - but he did not find the best light, tried to salvage with LR, ended up with a mediocre, lacklustre portrait shot with little creativity. Not very impressive “tutorial”.

Well then, its your turn now! Perhaps YOU can teach all of us how its done!! You dedicate some time of your own and create a tutorial for free!

It has some really great features I think, but its just funny that one of the big highlight of this slider is the "infinitely extendable track", yet all the sample clips in the video would of require only a short/compact slider.. :)

On article Fujifilm releases X-S1 premium EXR 26X superzoom (383 comments in total)

I had the HS10 and 20, also the 550EXR. I love them! Since I have DSLR (Canon and Sony) so I learned that photography is Veeery expensive!! Especially if you want to cover everything from wide to super zoom range! I really apreciate the mentioned fuji cameras to be usable on such a zoom range, etc. they are great, but by the end of the day we are the ones how press the shooter, we make the pictures. :) I can't wait to get this camera! Thanks Fuji! ;)
