5DMK3: As non pro user I just got a reminder why I love my Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/4 IS PRO Lens for 2500 usd. With 1.4 teleconverter I get f5.6 with 840mm and very easy handhold with sync IS.

Nikon D500 1800 usd + Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens 3500 usd. Since thats a 1.53 crop factor you get about 765mm which is very good with VR. This is a decent offering from Nikon since the 500D body is a very good in terms of AF.

Oly F4 is F4 in terms of light gathering but DOF is F8.
Atleast my shutterspeed would be very slow on F4 if that was like F8 FF light.

We know that Oly 300mm is a 600mm zoom in FF world since Oly M43 body has a x 2 factor on any lens? Im just asking since we are talking zoom to get to close to remote animals.
Show me a decent 840mm FF f5.6 lens bellow 10K usd?

99,9 % of all people would never buy this since way to much in price.
It is just a reminder there is very good options aka the Oly 300mm f4 with is, for that 99,9% of people.

Wow my unlimited cloud storage for 70 usd a year and 250 Mbps upload speed feels dirt cheap compared to this.
0 - 3TB took me 2 days to upload.

5DMK3: OMG 12K with that nasty swirly bokeh! It has a strong character for sure. So everyone will know what glass made that image.

«Tony and Chel youtube» lol looks more like a Sony ad than anything else. 20 vs 10 fps and lighter than Canon and Nikon. How does that even compare to dpreview sample images?

Why not get a Olympus 300mm f2.8 then, cost 1/3 of the price with way more range (600mm), 60 fps with Oly mkIi, much lighter and smaller than Canon and Nikon.

Finally even grandma can get video right and of course all the full selfie bodyshots for the new generations of wannabes. Everyone is included with low effort and no exclusion.

Samber: I have an original 80-200 2.8. Still looks and works great. I have Ben thinking about a 70-200 for about a year. When the lll comes out should I make the move?

As former Canon user there is no better lens period!
Sharpness, dof and af just amazing.
I took me literally just 1 hour to sell it after several years of use.

I feel lucky I have F1.8-2.8 which is way more usefull than more zoom.
This lens just got nerfed big time.
The price on even the two last version is still just crazy.

What is this product trying to compare to Adobe Lightroom CC or Adobe Lightroom CC Classic?
Does it work as a organizer for thousand of images like Adobe Lightroom CC Classic ?
Does support video files ?
Is it just a NIK clone wirh some added features ?
Does it support and use multicores and multithreads CPU ?

This product is for the extreme minority.
iPad Pro is way way faster than any highend PC/Macbook hardware with LR will ever be.
It is NOT about the hardware but the software that uses it.
Adobe could solved this years ago if they even cared, but everything is about mobil devices. Development goes to where the masses and money is aka mobile!

Wow as a former Canon 5DMK3 im happy to see that Nikon is even trying to atleast keep there loyal customers.
I wish 850D was released before Canon 5DMK4 rekt us, and I may have switch to Nikon. Now after 6 months with Olympus spending alot of cash on new glass Im very happy. That switch hurt alot in dollaz but just the silent shutter, focus stacking, focus peaking, tilt screen is so worth it. I use these features alot, with Canon I never could.
Happy birthday Nikon and all the Nikon users out there Im happy for you:)

Screw this merger. I still had one year of pro subscription left on flickr but oh well.

Im going to try this https://portal.photom.me/portal/migrate-photos-smugmug-using-smugglr/ . SmugMug vs Google Photos it seems like Google has a 16 megapixel limit, and SmugMug has a way higher limit and LR plugin.
