Just gave it a try and I must say it's very slow and laggy. The same issues as the previous Nikon softwares, to me at least. I thought maybe this would have been a nice fast alternative for those occasions when I don't have to browse/rate with PhotoMechanic and edit with Lightroom but no chance.

Why do people complain all the time, if you want a BMW or Audi just get a D5 or M1DX. One cannot dream a Ferrari at the price of Fiat Panda.
MidnightRider: Installed and tested March 18. Uninstalled and went back to View NX2 March 19. NX2 has more editing options and is easier to use. Thanks, Nikon for the free availability of NXi however NX2 serves my purposes much more efficiently.
To me it is not even close to NX2. When you hit full screen view in NXi it needs much more time to load images then on NX2 and the worst when you delete an image in NXi the software doesnt go to the next image, like it should normally but the screen stay black telling no image is selected. This is really odd but I think they will repair with updates.
how comes that there are no humans photographed to see the skin tones..
