Some stunningly good photos here! I really enjoyed looking through them all and voting.

This is the best photograph I've seen for a long time; congratulations!

I think the same is true of journalism. Newspapers are full of this kind of mindless chatter, it is debasing "proper" writing.

.5 from me; youngest child/youngest dog isn't really a similarity is it?

there may well be some symbolism here, but it has eluded me; sorry but I gave it 1 star. I just cannot reconcile it with the theme - nice photo though.

.5 from me, I'm sorry to say. I can see nothing here that relates to the theme.

Good photo!
I didn't look at this challenge, but I wish I had... you'd have had another 5 star vote.

A very good entry, I think some may have been put off by the leaning lighthouse. But lovely treatment, well done.

It's a shame that this entry didn't do better. A very nicely composed and 'shopped picture and absolutely in the spirit of the challenge; well done.

I enjoyed this. It makes a change from "the empty road" and the figures add to the picture.

A wonderful juxtaposition of shapes, and great colour. I really enjoyed this one.

It is entirely possible that you did indeed take this photo; in which case, why might it "not qualify"?
~I suspect it is not your work, therefore .5 from me. (If I'm wrong, then I have done you an injustice).~

I have now withdrawn my vote, in case I /am/ wrong.

Probably the best interpretation of the theme. Well done!

Thanks for looking, I used two remote flashes and, as it's a self portrait, a 10 sec timer.
