Be good to know what the percentage in these results are for Ml vs Dslr equipment considering theres always a lot more dslr lenses in production than ml and still some dslr cameras in production.

DP REVIEW is like youtuber influencers, just pushing new products down your throat like they are miraculous game changing and must haves.

I thought there was a limit to how small a photo site receptor could get before it would be by laws of physics imposible for light to enter…

What disappointing news then. 1 subscription based. 2 not designed to work stand alone as a complete package 3 uses cloud service 4 tethering is not available and no mention on future compatibility

Danny: Just to throw in another alternative for the very expensive Wacom is the Huion Inspiroy Dial Q620M. My Wacom Intuos 3 became useless after a migration to my new iMac, and a new one would set me back a couple hundred Euro's.. so after some research I bought the Inspiroy Dial Q620M for around €85,- and kept my fingers crossed in the hope it matched the quality my old trusted Intuos. To my surprise the Huion is such a great and well made tablet. No cheap flimsy device, solid, 9 buttons and a dail (for me a selling point) which I find very useful for setting brush size and zooming. Setting-up was a quick (Mac). Just to add, it has won a couple of awards as well :)

Thanks guys info is worth gold!!

I too have an intuos 3 and works fine, cost me $475 when puchased new and hurts to see its just a matter of drivers the reason to upgrade so instead I ordered an ipad pro 11" with apple pencil and doubles as a cintiq. For me its the best option.

lawny13: So…
1. How does this actually stack up to a Radeon macs, and the nvidia competition?

2. No one is talking about the fact that we lose bootcamp as an option.

Just the other day… couldn’t get a cost free way to offload the 8000 pictures of my wife’s phone via Mac. Was piece of cake when my Mac booted into boot camp.

The GPU performance seems great if I were a video editor… but I can’t exactly run windows based games on this thing. To me… just as much over kill in OSX as as the M1 ja overkill with iOS.

Agree the only reason why macs finally became a thing was because they switched to Intel. As much as I loved powerpcs for apple it was the smart thing to do.

This Ms are a step back for them in to the powerpc era.

Camillo: This is revolutionary in many ways and if it could do 1000 fps in 2k or 4k heck even in HD it would be a game changer for video content creators.

It does 8k for more than an hour while staying cool. You could literally even take a frame in some cases and use it as 33 megaixel image.

Curious to see what fps it can do.

Mar: Once Giugiaro was creating Nikon bodies with not only a great ergonomics, but even beautiful to look at….see the D2h,D2xs and the great D3.
The Z9 , being a mirror less, look like a brick in my opinion but could be I am just nostalgic.

Yeah those cameras were beautiful to look at and to hold!

Adobe features are like as seen on tv products since they introduced the content aware scale. Looks great in the demo but once you trye it results may vary, and vary like near useless to well I guess it'll do in the best case scenario.

But hey Im saying this in dpreview! Best place on earth to be roasted and insulted by people who dont have a picture in theyre name.

Business has gone dry and the more people get punchy good enough images out of phones the less we will see new PRO cameras as the less people feel they need a photographer. Yiou can argue about light and shadows but the market is all but at the end of an era.

If you can prove me wrong please do. I don't think Ill answer cause my day job is a killer. But Ill do my best.

Looks fake and starting to look like bad photoshop. I think there will be a new school from all this gimmicks and thats "The school of criteria". Peoples idea of what is good or good enough is going to suffer in the future, this stuff looks like meme material.
