Traveller: I assume that this was taken at night, with automatic flash and broken beam or remote tripped shutter. This could be entirely incorrect and speculative on my part, but I sense that I have noticed fairly often a reluctance of winners or participants to reveal, or take the time to describe how a wonderful shot was made.
The technique does not take away from the awesomeness of the image....and I think sometimes how it is done is almost a duty of the artist to discuss.
Regardless this is a wonderful image however made...Best Wishes, T
Traveller taken from a hide with lights at night.

Albert Valentino: Wonderful. But two of them are not so thirsty that they have not noticed the fresh meat before their eyes. Luckily, those are the males, as the females do all the food hunting. Males fight off other invading males. So I think the photographer was safe
Pretty safe behind glass at 4m.

What is the next level down in MP it will allow?

TomCodyPleasedToMeetYa: I expect the comments soon to be dominated by naysayers who have never use a Pentax, are not the target market but who think this is dead technology and mirrorless is the only way to go and their opinion is the most important.
Pentax should be congratulated for providing more choice for the consumer. If it performs as well as the Canon 5D series or the Nikon 750, Pentax should have a winner on their hands at the price fir photographers who value IQ, AF speed and ergonomics over smaller size/less weight.
Nope new Savox 12 about the same frame coverage as the D750.
Focus Breather: Does it have focus peaking?
Yes
Congratulations great shot Percy.
Great shot Mick.
