Matt Granger just published a direct comparison video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_WqYcx1Ps4

Wow, the 90mm does actually exist.. :-O:-)

Anyone getting the feeling they forgot to talk to a photographer when they designed this camera?

Nice shots! I agree, the lens is very nice to use. Small, compact and almost as light as a 45p, and we get f/2.5!

The manual says the USB-C port is PD 3.0 compliant.. I have a 100W USB-C PD charger ready to test that out...! Curious to see how quickly it charges.

Usually at extremes.. Since peaking is detecting contrast, some very fast (or older) lenses that see a significant loss of contrast wide open, combined with a shallow DoF can result in inaccuracy.. ...
-
You've used the SL2(s)? That's surprising to me, I've seen peaking be wildly inaccurate in some implementations, depending on the scene.
-
In theory, with the larger hi-rez EVF @ 1x magnification and the MF zoom, one should be able to just focus by looking and not need additional aids. Not excusing the lack of peaking or the new ...

FWIW, my XCD 38V just went into order fulfillment at B&H. nothing yet on the X2D.

And to add to that, without the embedded profile, I believe Lightroom has no choice but to attempt to infer the originating color space, which often means an assumption of sRGB.

Shipping to the dealer, or shipping to you? :)

lol.. I remember shooting with that X1D original for quite a while.. it certainly needed A LOT of stabilization..

Thanks! Interesting to note that X1D (original) did not see a firmware update.. 907x link as well below. X1D2 - https://www.hasselblad.com/de-de/my-hasselblad/downloads/#148 907x - https://www.hass ...

B&H dropped their estimated availability date (previously Sept 15). Now showing just "Coming Soon". I'm hopeful that this means their initial allocation is now spoken for and anyone that has ...

Why not use the XCD zoom? It's an amazing lens, one of the best in the lineup.
-
I believe the AF implementation is a design choice that is a "layer" above the Sony sensor. There may be some restrictions on type of AF pixels depending on the sensor tech, but I believe the ...
-
That's fair, and I hear you on the zoom.. I think the XCD 35-75 is great though. I almost entirely stopped using my XCD primes after I got that lens, but I also have the 907x and I think the new ...
