Eh, I've spent ~ $100k with them in the past couple of years, and they still treat me like any regular Joe. Unless one is heading up a studio / business account, I think we're all in the same bucket.

Not sure if I follow entirely.. but the CFV back is like a regular camera in the sense that if you want portrait mode, you need to rotate the entire camera as one unit. The back itself won't ...
-
I wouldn't do this, to be honest. If you had used the V-system back in the day and were nostalgic about getting back some gear and using your old lenses with the digital back, I'd say go for it. It ...

Nice, we just did some family photos there a few weeks back. Did you blend the sky as well? There's a sharpness fall-off between the top rock outcroppings and the clouds that seems slightly ...
-
3, basic sky replacement (just plain generic sky would be better than the current), lighten the shadows a bit though in the center tree so you can make out detail, and clone out the rock.. great ...

I shoot still life tethered quite often. That being said, I don't use them either. I drop the USB-C cable down over the ceiling supports, which removes most of the stress on the connection point.

I will say that I was initially concerned at first power-on of the camera, as I had put the tilt adapter on, and apparently not had it very snug. I was seeing veritical lines in the EVF view, as ...

I was blown away by the EVF. I'd never used anything like it. That and the 5 function buttons up front were worth it by itself!
-
Haha.. I barely remember the pre-covid days of being able to just buy something.. :) Strange that it looks like availability might be good but yet Fuji still issued that "more orders than we can ...
-
Same with the lens.. Amazon had 1 camera left a few minutes ago.. and at least one smaller dealer I see is showing one in stock too.. perhaps it was a good sized first production run!
-
Strange! Wonder if it was just the label creation notification? Regardless, hope it arrives soon! I know some people who pre-ordered like me (up at 5AM EST to do it) from B&H and still haven't seen ...
-
Now seeing B&H shipment emails starting to flow for those of you in queue there.
-
Please don't judge my horrific cable management.

It's marketing fluff. Bigger buffer, new microlens array, etc.. it's a Sony IMX 461 at the base where it counts.
-
I assume the CPU cycles are from the pre-processing of relevant data to go to the cloud, where the actual compute happens. I'd imagine if you looked at it along with network traffic, you'd see a ...
-
Agreed.. there is no way this is a new sensor.. updated layers on the stack perhaps, and obviously the new CPU, etc.. but this is most certainly the same sensor as in every other 44x33 MF "100MP" ...
-
Nothing from B&H today.. Hopefully the outbound shipments peoples work on Monday, and it's the store and back-office folk who are doing the holiday thing.. That would stink if they didn't get any ...
-
Anyone actually get a B&H shipped notification yet? I'm wondering, as we approach 5PM EST, if they're staged to go out tomorrow. Having them arrive on Saturday (for those that paid for overnight) ...
-
Yep, looks like my order is in 'processing'.. hopefully next-day air gets it here tomorrow!

I imagine that's an oversight in the manual. I get blinkies on my 100s.
