I agree the 18mm could use a revamp. Fuji should release it together with the next X-Pro camera, it could be a hit among street photographers.

Why do people continue to worry about the corrections happening behind the scenes? They're part of the package. Even with the software corrections on, today's lenses are still miles ahead of...

This is a fine shot indeed. I decided to zoom in and inspect, but I don't find the bokeh very special. There's bokeh fringing visible at contrasting edges which doesn't make it special in my view.

Thanks everyone for commenting. I'd say the reciprocal rule is good in practice especially with good handholding technique.

I love the X-T30, and the only thing I can say I'm missing is IBIS. Still, OIS works fine and the occasional help of a railing, lamp post or a tree helps me drag the shutter for longer than I ...

Yesterday I visited a folklore costume festival. Besides people in traditional clothing there were also kukeri, costumed men (and women) who perform traditional rituals intended to scare away evil ...

Well, they implied you should get the Z7 II for cameras up to $3k. While the Z7 (mk I) will do the same job for even less than that.

Camera sensors have been so good in the past decade that I don't think you'll really need new gear to take great landscapes.

The X-T10 got me in the Fuji world some years ago. I later upgraded to the X-T30 and thus skipped the X-T20, but all three cameras share the same body size (and most accessories such as grips can ...

It's very subjective. Personally, I couldn't imagine traveling to NYC without an ultrawide lens. However, if those lenses are not to your liking then 18mm should be enough for you. Considering how ...

Nice series. These look like postcards.

Lovely series! Definitely images you can be proud of.

Can you share some samples? Are you using a fast enough shutter speed?

@Andyyy just test it and see for yourself. On the cameras I've owned it's not 100% effective but it gets rid of most dust specs. So definitely useful.

It will start from the smallest aperture only if the camera was set to auto aperture beforehand. It's following the same pattern as aperture rings on Fuji cameras (the Auto setting is past the ...

Because when I got my X-T30 the X-S10 wasn't announced yet. Plus, I upgraded from the X-T10 and wanted to be able to continue using my grips and half-cases. And wasn't sure I wanted to part with ...

f/1.8 is a little over a stop slower than f/1.2. For that extra speed adding 200 g in weight sound like a good deal.

Being a X-T30 owner I thought I should jump in. The X-T30 handles perfectly with smaller lenses as you have noticed. I've used it with the XC 16-50, XF 27/2.8, 35/1.4, 60/2.4, Samyang 12mm f2 - ...
