IQ wise  k5’s were very compelling cameras, not hard to understand hanging on to them  Seems to me the k3 iii is a pretty compelling reason to upgrade if your using that format I’ll be looking ...

Perhaps the leaf switch shutter button mechanism vs the tactual switch of the rear focus button has something to do with it? Just a guess.
