CelticOdyssey's current gear

Leica D-LUX 5
Olympus OM-D E-M5 II
Olympus PEN-F
Usually close at hand, and have had it since it was introduced, replacing an earlier Panny/Leica. Small, with simple but complete menus, and fast to use. Beautiful handy case, and best of all - takes great pix.
A very nice camera that does most things well. Good companion for my Pen F, working better than the Pen with bulkier lenses and continuous autofocus.
Impressive street shooter, and great companion to the E-M5ii. Feels great in the hand. Mono effects fun, but I always shoot RAW +Jpeg. Best with smaller prime lenses. My favorite digital camera ever!
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17mm 1:1.8
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 300mm F4 IS Pro
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 45mm F1.8
Compact, solid and reasonably sharp, usually the lens on my Pen F
Finest lens I've ever owned. Its sharpness and rich images still astound me; solidly built.
A nice lens that's sharp and has good bokeh, but feels plasticky.
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm 1:2
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm F1.8
Panasonic Leica Summilux DG 25mm F1.4
A solid performer with solid build. This lens and the 17mm are the ones I use the most.
Terrific medium telephoto. Super sharp, smooth bokeh and solidly built. A confidence booster!
Really a fine lens- like it much better now that I learned how to stop it from rattlesnaking on my OLY cameras. (turn flicker control OFF)
Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm F4 ASPH
Rokinon 7.5mm F3.5 UMC Fisheye CS
Gives me big purple blobbies if I'm not careful, and they are impossible to totally remove in LR. Since I refuse to use any of the recommended fixes, I use this lens only in a pinch.
An inexpensive way to gain a new visual perspective. Sharp, well made and a best buy! Just wish it connected electronically.
Other gear:
  • Olympus Zuiko Digital 1.4x Teleconverter MC-14

I may not ever own anything like this, but would love to play with such a fast, wide lens. Manual focus wouldn't bother me a bit.

CelticOdyssey's previous gear

Leica D-LUX 4
Olympus PEN E-PL3
A really nice camera, except that its focal length range was just not quite enough. Traded it for the D-Lux 5.
Never was completely comfortable with this, my first foray into m4/3. I found it a bit clumsy.
