Ranthambore National Park in India is reputedly the best place to see the Wild Tiger on Safari. This time, a large male paraded himself against the backdrop of the greenery. The forest in Ranthambore is dry decidous - tends to be very earthly. But for a short period of time, when the rains come, the forest quickly transforms itself into a Deep Green forest. Tigers are more difficult to find, but any viewing is a gift

  • Submitted a challenge entry Dancing in the Rain
We visited Ranthambore a forest that is a Tiger sanctuary in India. The forest is in the middle of a Dry desert state. Most of the year, the vegetation is dry, brown and earthy. Then the monsoons come and the forest becomes green. We were there just as the monsoons were starting. And Peacocks love to dance when the rains have stopped!
