  • Replied in Keep a backup
Excellent, well-thought-out workflow. Thanks for sharing.
  • Great advice and awesome pics thanks so much!
  • 1 catch the street car at canal and st charles. ride it up to carrolton then back to Washington st. This is 5e 'garden district' it’s beautiful. Get off at Washington street and walk over a block ...
  • TWICE! yes the Q is a jewel of a camera. Yes when push comes to shove it can give you a two stop light advantage over the x100f. Yes the lens rendering is more cinematic and visually interesting ...
  • I’m from La and have been a Nola regular All my life but I swear those second lines can be elusive! But they make for awesome street photography. Thanks for some advice on timing. I was thinking ...
  • Genuine sweaty palmed prayers answered. I was unable to recover images from my computer but low and behold iskysoft was able to pull 2700 dng files from a memory card that has been formatted and ...
  • Im still gonna try recovery software, may consider a commercial service, and will not give up on the card, either. Thanks.

  • Bourbon st. is seedy but crawling with tourists and cops. It's safe as aces. In fact i posted 'walking bourbon st. at midnight' after doing just that with my Leica Q. Got lots of of up close and...

  • It's a valid point.

  • Yes you can have a budget oriented fishing hobby, skiing hobby, cycling hobby etc. and enjoy the hell out of yourself. Or you can go all out and buy a moon's worth of gear and do it that way, too....

  • I second that Rob. I own both cameras. The Q is a beast in low light fast moving situations. But that is a niche application. In all other uses the x100f can match it at a third of the price.

  • Forget that. You've got Contax T3s going for $1800 on the used market. Somebody needs to make a modern, compact, premium, fixed lens film camera. There is clearly a market.

  • Yeah and then take that DSLR-Lens combo and weave in and out of people at a music festival, or on Bourbon St or in times square, or at your cousin's wedding, or at an evangelical prayer service on...

  • the Q is a tale of two cameras. in bright light the lack of an evf eyecup means the sun is gonna eat your eyes up REGARDLESS of evf spec. plus the camera is sorta bulky and you're going to be...

  • i think you meant to say 'when you go from driving a BENZ to driving a CADILLAC' cause eeerbody know cadillac is where the real deal at
