Well, I merely have a humble Z6ii, but for sure the next big update will fix the recording limit, and maybe the major shortcoming that shall not be named. Not an issue for me since I grab my Sony ...

Regarding European tax laws and "real camera" (not vlogging camera) recording limits of 30 minutes, is this still the case? I pose the question because Gordon over at Cameralabs.com reports that ...

Well, does an E.U. Sony ZV-1 have the 29+ minute limitation? I have no idea...
-
Well, for example, my (U.S.) Sony ZV-1 doesn’t care about tax laws since it’ll record video indefinitely until the battery or memory space runs out. i don’t know why my Nikon Z6ii can’t do the same.
-
In my case, "zero" since it was done during a free shutter mechanism replacement on my old D750.

In all the years of attempting to clean sensors--using probably every product on the market--I have never got the sensor *absolutely* clean. Every time, the cleaning process has left tiny debris ...

Well, thanks for the responses to my post. With BBAF, I think the difference may be in what happens after a shot has been taken, not while a shot is being taken : The camera doesn't have to restart ...
-
For a long time, I've read of BBAF (on a Z6 ii) having some focusing advantage over simply half-pressing the shutter button, which is how I've always shot, usually with AF-C, people mode for ...

I'm assuming the camera in question a Z6 II. I just did a 2160/60 recording of over 29 minutes on my Z6 ii (the amount of space left on my Sony XQD 64GB card) with no problem.

Assuming you opt for repair, I'd just send it to Nikon directly and bypass Best Buy. Nikon repair has never failed to be fast and thorough. Years ago my D750 body was recalled, and I got it to ...

I’ve had the same experience. Yes, the big green box no longer sticks like glue to the chosen spot. Almost like having a Z6 again. Yet, and oddly, I too am getting more eye-detect hits than I did ...

Absolutely mo-ron-ic video. About two minutes of useful info. with the rest a production of toxic landfill waste material.

So, it’s been six months for a point-one update. By my calculations, that’s 6 times 6 months, or three years, to firmware 2.0! And all I want is the damn thing to focus on the eye it has so ...
-
Actually I already have both set to "off." I'm guessing this would relieve the (dual!) processors of some work during the exposure, leaving more CPU power to actual focusing. Another test--which ...

I’m particularly interested in any improvements in eye AF being reported here. (I have to wait for the grandchildren to arrive before my own tests.) I see a lot of reports in this thread of better ...
-
(Emphasis added.) At the risk of stirring up another hornets' nest, I have found the Z6ii's eye tracking to be superb--until you press the shutter release and see that the eye the camera told you ...

I can corroborate the info in your post. In fact, I bought an SB500 specifically to be the commander unit for my SB800s (and another SB500). One thing, though, that I've noticed with the Z6 and ...

I didn't realize it at the time, but the household had a vaper, and once I got home I could smell the damn stuff. It took about five years for the smell to dissipate. Separately, I've used a small ...

True enough, but film resolution comes nowhere near digital (pixel) resolution, for practical purposes at least. I scan my old Hasselblad 6x6 Ektachromes at 1600 dpi, and that's more than enough. ...

Yes, I see that now, in the arch just below the portrait, for instance. It looks like noise, but is the result of overzealous ICE processing, I believe. Sometimes (here for instance) the "auto" ...
