I have never owned an RX1 camera, therefore I cannot comment.

I believe the reason to start with raw as input is that you get better results when you comb one demosaicing with NR as raw files have more relevant data. Topaz Denoise allows both raw and ...
-
Check out this Adobe article for more details. The algorithms are trained to perform demosaicing and denoising in a single step. Denoise demystified Also: "... as with our previous Enhance ...

Yes, but the AI NR algorithms are completely different for raws than JPEGs. The powerful AI NRs of DxO and Adobe require non-demosaiced data.

William Eggleston, Ralph Gibson, Jasper Doest, etc. Many of Japer's prize-winning images (e.g., Meet Bob series) have been shot with a Leica rangefinder.

I believe Adobe is working on adding AI Denoise to files that are not raw (Sony M-raw, JPEG, TIFF), but I do not expect the denoising quality to be the same as with (real) raws. At the launch of AI ...

Probably also cannot process with Adobe Denoise AI.

No worries, that happened to me too recently 😁.

There is no benefit shooting uncompressed vs lossless compressed.
-
AFAIK, nobody reported artifacts with lossless compressed raw files, only with lossy compressed. Sony introduced lossless compression only fairly recently.

M11 is a rangefinder with optional EVF.
-
M11's live view works well and has a tilting EVF, which is very helpful when shooting on a tripod.

No problem with that :). Quick question: do you have experience using Q2 or Q3?
-
As a Leica Q3/Q2 and Sony a7cr/a7rV owner, I do not believe there is an equivalent to the Leica Q3 in the Sony system. Picking one or the other always loses and gains something.
-
Yes, that would be nice. However, note that the lower resolution is not better for low light. It has the same effect as reducing resolution in post. It does save space and does not fill the ...

You are right! My mind was completely absent when writing that reply. I apologize!

If you need 10 fps and 7 fps is not fast enough, then lossy compressed is the right setting.
-
Can you elaborate on why you need 10 frames per second? Insects moving? Is 7fps vs 10fps going to make a difference?
