Canonphotogirl: This is such an incredible pic - and look at those eyes!

Thanks for the compliment Canonphotogirl. It was part of a 'spray and pray' sequence of shots and I just happened to get the eyes right.

CelticOdyssey: Wonderful photo- and yet some jerk gave you a 0.5star!

Thanks for the compliment CelticOdyssey. I don't worry about the low scorers, I've been here long enough to be able to take the rough with the smooth.

Albert Valentino: Great photo that brings back memories from a simpler time. No ongoing GAS, or silly pixel wars. Just a simple box that captures the moment to preserve fond memories. Being of the same generation I also grew up with a Kodak Brownie. What always saddens me is the loss of Kodak as a leader. However, your picture is, what their marketing campaign used to call a ‘Kodak Moment’ 😃

Many thanks for your comments Albert Valentino. I took some great photographs with that 127.

MannyZero: So, this is a picture from the album if Bonnie and Clyde would had taken the right path.
Sorry, Cuthbert; I had to say it.
This is a GEM from the past: the typical city-dweller family having a timeless moment under the sun.
Oh yes, those Brownies were the makers of souvenirs.
Thanks for sharing.
God bless.

Very pleased to share it MannyZero. Many thanks for your comments.

NextShowForSure: This could have been my Wife's family. They travelled around in the same way. 3 children in a bike and sidecar away on holiday. They had to all get out and the Dad push it up a particular hill at Goathland in Yorkshire.
Wonderful picture.

Thanks for your comments NextShowForSure. That bike and sidecar took us all over the place.

Thanks RuthC. They were in the butterfly house at Chester Zoo and didn't have a label so thanks for identifying them for me.

KZMike: A 'classic' Brit aircraft

It certainly is. This photograph was taken at Bruntingthorpe taxi day in August last year. They also taxi other classics such as the Buccaneer and Victor. Awesome!!

I think that if you entered an image that followed the host's example, you would not be thinking about a 'pornographic image', more a nostalgic, hark back to the '40s & '50s...
