If you don't need view finder then Lumix GX800 / GX850 is proper camera and pocketable. If you need EVF, then Lumix G100 is still very small.

Don't focus on what others are saying. Try both, if possible, and decide which one do you like. Often spending 10 mins with a camera in shop is good enough to feel if the camera is right for you.
