On article Fujifilm X30 First Impressions Review (477 comments in total)

The X30 does have a mic input. It is very small and requires an adapter for normal mic input which I use with good results

nimrod1212: Give either of these a way to power-up externally and an app to remotely connect to something other than a mobile device and I'd buy one or three. The compactness, relatively low price and wireless transmission has numerous applications in wildlife photography, multiple camera video capture, scientific work etc etc.

I think it will be a flop. It's a desperate attempt to recapture the point and shoot market they lost to cellphones. Cellphone shooters are happy with what they get and those who are interested in photography and want better quality will buy a better real camera for the same price or less.

babalu: DPR, hopefully for you, you are in possession of official proof that the depicted persons are the real perpetrator(s) of the alleged theft ; and even if so, I think you were ill-advised to publish their countenances the way you did. If however they should turn out to be second-hand buyers of the phone, you could be in for calumny and other charges.
Furthermore , as one other commentor has stated, I do not
see this article really related to photography .

Possession of stolen property is a crime. Second hand buyers will have little recourse. If the price is too good to be true, one could get in a heap of trouble.

On article 5 Reasons why I haven't used my DSLR for months (592 comments in total)

35mm portraits at arms length, showing such an example and saying it is ideal is ridiculous. Take a look at the picture of the lady again. Look at her huge head on such a small body? Was she born deformed or was it caused by the distortion of a short focal length lens? I'll bet on the lens, but I'll give you the benefit of a doubt. Maybe she was a dwarf.
