Why would you format your card when you had photos on it?
-
The only downside I am aware of that some RAW developers can't read it.

As a old long time photographer (I started in the 1960s), I view RAW files as the digital equivalent to a film negative. One never throws away a negative. The jpeg becomes the print. One of the ...

I have to agree with all that you say about it. I am not doubting those that had less than optimal results but in my experience with the 17-135 nano it has proven to be a great lens. Taken with the ...

I have the 18-135 nano and it was an eye opener. A truly great lens. Very easy to use and supper fast focus. On a 90D it even has a special panning feature.

Todd what are trying to do or what do you want to do?

Yes. the 90D will benefit from a faster card,

Make sure that both cameras have the same settings. Such as Style, Lens Aberration Correction, Auto Lighting Optimizer, And so on. What are you shooting RAW or jpeg? If RAW what program do you use ...

An EVF is a simulation of the scene. It may look good but it is not the scene as seen through an OVF. Nor can it show what is there from the brightest to the darkest values. It can only give a ...

Ikl land I'm glad you like your 70D. All the Canon XXD cameras are great. You seem to know how to use it too!

There is nothing mysterious about dynamic range of a sensor. It is simply how well a sensor can show detail in dark areas and detail in light areas in the same exposure. The wider the DR the better.
-
It was there to help prevent the mirror from hitting the body too hard. I would see how to replace it if you want to. Also a good reason to get a brand new 90D. :-)

The latest DPP 4 will process all the CR3 files from the 90D.

Most complaints are from those that either have not owned it (check the gear list on the posts) or have not become familiar with it. Some state up front that they don't own it. Others, I think, ...

I have read every thread on this forum dealing with the 90D. So, though I have not read your links I did read them at other times. Nor would they have any impact on my posting. Also you will notice ...

I like center spot one shot for most things, If you know anything about the 80D you will find the 90D out preforms it in every area. Focusing is fast and accurate. There have been as many posts ...

I am very glad you have your 90D. I know it is the finest APS-C camera Canon makes. I did start out shooting RAW and Jpeg but decided I didn't need to. In your case where you want to transfer ...
